Graduating seniors are encouraged to attend a series of events, some virtual and some in-person, April 12-15, to celebrate all that they’ve accomplished during their journey at St. Joseph’s College.

Monday, April 12
Vision Board Kits/Champagne Flute Pickup
Start creating a vision of your future.
SJC Brooklyn students can pick up their board kits between 11 a.m.-2 p.m. in the Alumni Room. They can either decorate their vision boards at home, or join the Office of Student Involvement, Leadership and Intercultural Engagement in the Student Lounge at 5 p.m. to create together. Space is limited, and students can RSVP for in-person decorating on SJC Engage.
SJC Long Island students can collect their board kits between 10 a.m.-4 p.m. from the Office of Student Involvement, Leadership and Intercultural Engagement in Room 6 of the Student Hospitality Lounge. They can join their classmates virtually either Tuesday, April 13, or Wednesday, April 14, during Common Hour to work on their vision boards together. A link will be shared in next week’s email from Bryan Gill, executive director for Student Involvement, Leadership and Intercultural Engagement.
Each member of the Class of 2021 will receive a champagne flute for a special “Toast to the Graduates.”
Flutes can be picked up at SJC Brooklyn during any of the week’s in-person events for their toast on May 20, and at SJC Long Island in the Office of Student Involvement, Leadership and Intercultural Engagement either Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday between 10 a.m.-4 p.m. for their toast on June 3.
Wednesday, April 14
Alumni Trivia Night at 7 p.m.
In this event hosted by the Office of Alumni Engagement, members of the Class of 2021 from both campuses are invited to mingle with alumni and try their skills at SJC Trivia.
Thursday, April 15
SJC Brooklyn: Movie on the Mall at 7:45 p.m.
Enjoy cotton candy and popcorn while watching “The Sandlot” under the stars with your classmates. A rain location is set for the Student Lounge.
SJC Long Island: BINGO
Participate in BINGO for a chance to win some prizes. Three sessions will take place in the Shea Gardens area on campus: Noon to 12:45 p.m., 1–1:45 p.m. and 2 –2:45 p.m. Students can only attend one session each and must register in advance. Light prepackaged snacks will be available.
